Anew Day's Counseling Skills Workshop Focuses on:

• Essential characteristics of an effective counselor.
• Connection, communication and helping applications.
• Client concerns such as relationships, boundaries, anxieties, crisis, addictions, grief, abuse and personality disorders.
• Integration of Christian view; triadic healing encounter and biblical guidance.
• Ethics-we abide by the Code of Ethics of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Our 12-week workshop is Basic Training for  Nevada County community members interested in improving their communication and listening skills. If you currently have, or during the sessions develop an interest, we invite you to prayerfully consider joining us in Anew Day's growing outreach as one of our lay counselors after you've completed the workshop. $50 materials fee (Limited scholarships available).
